Who We Are?

UNIque Junior Enterprise was registered as a non-profit organization in Albania in October 2009, based in Tirana, Albania. Being the first Junior Enterprise in Albania, our organization mainly aims is offering students and youngsters a chance to reduce the gap between the theoretical and practical approach and grow professionally into the post-graduate life. The organization is managed by youngsters and involves them in short run and long run projects while keeping an enlargement perspective at the national level.

UNIque works on a membership basis with a board of members (with 4 persons) and the general assembly (with 24 persons). The staff is organized in departments and their field of expertise is distinctive and complementary with each other. We believe in our people as the most valuable asset that we possess. 

UNIque is part of JADE network that is an international, non-profit umbrella-organization of junior enterprises across Europe and managed solely by youngsters. Moreover, UNIque is affiliated to the University of Tirana, the oldest and largest university in Albania, with a total of 40.000 students.

The key activities of the organization are mainly focused on promoting youth entrepreneurship and innovation as a tool on increasing employability and local development.

Our work focuses on activities where we aim to promote the entrepreneurial spirit of students, volunteering, active citizenship etc. Our organization has also a background on activities about new ideas of businesses. But also we have hosted a lot of activities for young students about entrepreneurship, economic development strategy, Balkan Venture Forum 2013, Startup Live Tirana, Youth Exchange “Youth for Nature, Green Society in Action” etc. We have always tried to maintain high standards on our activities, for example in the organization of Startup Live Tirana we cooperate with local and foreign mentors and trainers with significant experience in the field of business, coaching and mentoring. UNIque Junior Enterprise has a wide experience in the non-formal and informal education and uses such methods in its activities. Apart the activities in Albania, we have also a network with Erasmus+ activities, where until now UNIque Junior Enterprise has participated (as sending partner and hosting organization) in several youth exchanges, training courses and partnership building activities.
